What you'll accomplish
Choose the correct workspace, project, plan-comment, or public-quote collaboration path.
Steps
- Open Settings → Team if the current role can manage users.
- Invite an email as Employee, Manager, or Admin; resend, cancel, or remove a member when appropriate.
- From a project folder, Share an email from another company and track or revoke the collaborator.
- Use M to pin a plan comment, reply in its thread, and resolve or reopen it; guests can comment despite view-only takeoff access.
- Use public quote links for customer review, PDF download, signature, and decisions.
What to expect
- Team members and pending invitations are separate lists.
- Invitation links support sign-in or account creation before acceptance.
- Project sharing is fixed view-only and separate from workspace membership; it is not a customizable role assignment.
- Customers do not need workspace access to review a shared quote.
Good to know
BuildVision AI does not currently include customizable project roles, a subcontractor bid portal, crew assignments, or a subcontract document exchange.
