What you'll accomplish
Find a quote, update it, and understand which actions belong to your team or the customer.
Steps
- Open Quotes from global navigation or choose a quote row inside a project.
- Search by quote number, title, or customer and filter by status.
- Choose New quote for Blank quote or an active saved template, or arrive from takeoff/calculator export.
- Open a quote to edit draft composition, lines, totals, expiry, project, and status.
- Preview, share, revoke, or send; the customer reviews and can download PDF or respond when the quote data enables it.
What to expect
- The quote list tells you when more results exist beyond the current view.
- The quote editor back-links to the project and originating takeoff when known.
- Customers can open a shared quote without signing into your workspace; password and expiry requirements still apply when present in its share data.
- The current quote editor does not author templates or expose every pre-existing public-review option as a team setting.
