Construction calculators
Run 28 material, roofing, sitework, and business calculators in imperial or metric units, then add selected outputs to a new or existing quote.
- 28 verified calculator engines
- Validated website deep links
- Save selected results to a quote
What you'll accomplish
Run the appropriate calculator and carry only the selected outputs into a quote.
Steps
- Open Costing → Calculators and choose from Business, Materials, Roofing, or Sitework.
- Choose Imperial or Metric where offered, complete required values, and add repeatable rows for calculators that support them.
- Calculate and review labeled results, units, rounding, and any input error before using the output.
- Choose Save to quote, select the output lines, and send them to a new quote or an existing quote.
What to expect
- The shipped set contains 28 calculators; app deep links can prefill supported calculator inputs from the public website.
- Business: Construction Cost, Equipment Depreciation, Hourly Rate, Labor Cost, Markup, and Net Profit.
- Materials: Board Foot, Concrete Block, Concrete, Concrete Slab, Deck Cost, Drywall, Fence, Flooring, Wall Framing & Stud, Insulation, Paint, Square Footage, Siding, and Stair.
- Roofing: Metal Roof Cost, Roof, Roofing Cost, and Roof Pitch. Sitework: Asphalt, Gravel, Paver, and Retaining Wall.
- Selected results become editable quote lines and do not overwrite the calculator result.
- Calculator currency display is currently USD rather than workspace-currency aware.
- Quantity outputs save as unpriced Material rows; currency outputs save as lump-sum Other rows.
- Takeoff quantities can be copied into a calculator deliberately; no hidden automatic takeoff-to-formula conversion is implied.
Good to know
