Sheet index
Open a document-wide sheet grid with thumbnails, labels, counts, pending states, and direct navigation.
- Thumbnail grid
- Per-sheet counts
- Keyboard access
What you'll accomplish
Locate the sheets with work, open the right page, and connect plan interpretation to takeoff quantities.
Steps
- Open All pages or press G, then use the Sheets grid to scan thumbnails, sheet labels, item totals, and pending counts.
- Choose a sheet, use zoom/pan for detail, and keep plan scale separate from viewport zoom.
- Press N and draw around the printed legend; confirm extraction, then review names, thumbnails, types, units, and placed counts in Legend.
- Use Count this for an unplaced row, Search more for an eligible symbol, and hide or restore legend rows as needed.
What to expect
- The current page is highlighted and scrolled into view when the grid opens.
- Counts explicitly state coverage while never-visited pages load and expose Retry on failure.
- A None yet legend row is a visible gap, not a zero-confidence guess; Search more creates pending matches for review.
- Sheet search and discipline grouping are not part of the current Sheets grid.
