Steps

1. Can AI results be edited? Yes—review state, geometry, label, category, and color have explicit controls.
2. Did AI combine two scopes—like balcony guardrails and interior handrails—into one footage total? Split them: select the runs for one scope, then type a new label in the Inspector that appears at the top of the right panel; every label keeps its own totals, CSV rows, and quote lines.
3. Is a double-line symbol—a guardrail drawn as two parallel lines—doubling your footage? Doubled strokes within about three real inches already count once; for wider pairs, delete that run and trace it once with Linear (L), or correct the quantity on the quote line before sending.
4. Why does a quantity say Set scale? Linear/area requires calibration; counts remain each.
5. Can exports be partial? No—the whole-document collectors cancel on missing pages.
6. Can I import prices or calculate materials? Yes—Costing imports CSV/XLSX/XLS and includes 28 calculators with save-to-quote.
7. Can another company see one project? Yes—fixed view-only project sharing allows viewing and plan comments, not editing or measurement.
8. Can customers download a quote PDF? Yes—Download PDF uses the browser print/Save-as-PDF flow.
9. Does BuildVision AI include invoices, budgets, physical inventory, scheduling, generic third-party integrations, template authoring, or version comparison? Not currently.
