Share the latest quote and understand what your team and the customer can each do.
Steps
- Wait for Saved or use Retry before sharing.
- Choose Share to create/copy a link, or Send with a valid customer email and optional message.
- Open customer view to verify branding, markdown scope/terms, lines, totals, expiry, and Download PDF.
- Revoke an active link only after confirmation; create a new share when access should resume.
- When existing quote/share data enables online decisions, the customer can accept or decline and may need a signature.
What to expect
- Share and Send wait for the latest quote edits to save successfully.
- The shared quote records when it is viewed, accepted, or declined.
- Unavailable/revoked, expired, network-retry, and password-protected states each have dedicated copy.
- The current team editor does not expose controls to configure passwords, scope/payment terms/assumptions/exclusions, signature requirement, deposit, public columns, or online-acceptance behavior.
- Download PDF uses the browser print/Save-as-PDF flow rather than a takeoff PDF export.
