What you'll accomplish
Move between editor commands quickly without conflicting with text fields or browser shortcuts.
Steps
- Use V Select, H Pan, C Count, L Linear, P Polyline, A Area, R Rectangle, E Eraser, K Calibrate, M Comment, and N Legend.
- Press G to open or close Sheets; Escape also closes the grid without leaking to the canvas.
- Use Enter or double-click to complete eligible multi-point drafts and Escape to back out.
- Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo, Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z or Ctrl/Cmd+Y to redo, Ctrl/Cmd+C/V to copy/paste, Ctrl/Cmd+D to duplicate, and Delete/Backspace to remove selection.
What to expect
- Text fields are excluded from global tool and delete shortcuts.
- Press ? to open shortcut help; text fields are protected from global tool, clipboard, duplicate, and delete handling.
- The command bar displays the tool-letter hints beside the icons.
