What you'll accomplish
Choose workspace membership or project-specific view-only sharing without conflating them.
Steps
- For full workspace entry, open Settings → Team and invite Employee, Manager, or Admin.
- For one project, open its folder, choose Share, and invite the other company's account email.
- The recipient accepts the project invite and finds it under Shared with you.
- Review collaborator status or revoke access from the project folder.
What to expect
- Workspace invitation and project invitation are separate lifecycles with separate acceptance screens.
- Project guests can view project/takeoff/quote data and add plan comments, but cannot measure or edit.
- Manage-users capability gates workspace Team actions; project share controls follow project ownership/access.
Good to know
Project sharing currently has one fixed view-only guest level. Custom project roles, field crews, attendance, and per-project permission matrices are not included.
