Choose one PDF in Projects, send it to an existing project or create a project from the PDF, then follow it through upload, preparation, and opening.

Upload or open a supported plan and understand when AI becomes available.

Choose Start a takeoff and select one PDF, then choose an existing project or New project from PDF.
Follow creating, uploading, preparing, and opening states into the editor.
For an existing project, choose Upload plan and select PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG.
Keep validation, upload, and preparation errors visible and retry with a readable plan.

Production creation is project-first; the Takeoff landing directs plan creation back to Projects.
The launchpad is one-PDF-at-a-time, while the project-folder input also accepts PNG/JPEG images.
The accepted file input does not advertise arbitrary business documents.

Email ingestion, ZIP archives, office documents, CAD and DWG files, and general document attachments are not currently supported.
