Start a takeoff
Choose one PDF in Projects, send it to an existing project or create a project from the PDF, then follow it through upload, preparation, and opening.

What you'll accomplish
Create a valid project and enter it immediately.
Steps
- Choose New project for a folder-first flow, enter Project name and optionally Customer and Address, then Create.
- Or choose Start a takeoff, select one PDF, and choose New project from PDF.
- Confirm the seeded project name and follow creating, uploading, preparing, and opening progress.
- After creation, use project tags, pin, sharing, and archive according to your access.
What to expect
- Create and Cancel are explicit actions in the inline form.
- Project rows show their current status and optional customer or address details.
- Search can confirm the new project appears in the home list.
- The PDF launchpad creates one project/plan/takeoff chain at a time.
