Build Vision LLC uses the collected data for various purposes:

- To test and improve specialized BuildVision AI takeoff models and workflows using plan content, takeoff outputs, and review corrections
- To create aggregated or de-identified service metrics that do not reasonably identify a person, customer, workspace, or private project
- To comply with legal obligations
Private construction plans and project documents are processed to provide and improve the features you request. This can include using plan content, takeoff outputs, and review corrections to test and improve specialized BuildVision AI takeoff models and workflows that serve customers. We do not sell private plans or use them to build general-purpose foundation models.
5. How Long We Keep Data
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to:
- Comply with our legal obligations
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
- Maintain business records for analysis and/or audit purposes
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your Personal Data, we will either delete or anonymize it.
We may retain and use aggregated or de-identified service metrics that do not reasonably identify a person, customer, workspace, or private project.
6. International Processing
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there.
BuildVision AI is operated from the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. We handle cross-border transfers as required by applicable law. 8. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
Right to Opt Out of Sale, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising
Where applicable law provides this right, you may opt out of uses of personal information that qualify as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws may treat optional advertising measurement or audience technology as sharing or targeted advertising. Use Cookie settings to reject Marketing measurement, enable a supported Global Privacy Control signal, or contact privacy@buildvisionai.com to exercise an applicable opt-out right.
We may need to verify your identity before processing your request and may deny requests where permitted by law.

10. Data Security
We limit access to Personal Data according to operational need and use encrypted HTTPS connections for supported website and application traffic. Service providers are responsible for the safeguards they operate in their own systems.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
12. Third-Party Services
Our Services may link to sites we do not operate. Review the privacy policy of each third-party site you visit. We do not control those sites or their privacy practices.

Do Not Track
"Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control are different signals. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track. We do honor supported Global Privacy Control signals by keeping optional analytics and marketing measurement off, as described in the Cookie Policy below.
14. International Users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different privacy laws. See Section 6 or contact privacy@buildvisionai.com for current information about transfers relevant to your data.

Managing Cookies

Cookie and Browser-Storage Inventory
- __Host-bv_measurement: Necessary first-party cookie that stores analytics and marketing choices for up to 180 days
- _ga and _ga_*: Optional Google Analytics cookies used after analytics consent; provider-configured duration, typically up to 2 years
- _gcl_* and _gac_*: Optional Google advertising attribution cookies used after marketing consent; provider-configured duration, typically up to 90 days
- _fbp and _fbc: Optional Meta browser and click attribution cookies used after marketing consent; provider-configured duration, typically up to 90 days
- bv_campaign_attribution: Optional first-party session storage containing allowlisted campaign labels and, with marketing consent, advertising click identifiers; removed when the browser tab session ends or the applicable consent is withdrawn
Provider settings and browser behavior can change actual cookie duration. Cookie settings removes optional first-party measurement cookies that the website can access when the related choice is withdrawn; browser controls can also remove stored data.
Third-Party Measurement Technologies
When you grant the applicable optional choice, we may use third-party measurement services and similar technologies, including:
- Google Analytics
- Google Ads
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights
- Meta Pixel
If analytics measurement is enabled and accepted, Google Analytics may be used for site usage and completed-action measurement, while Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights may be used for website traffic and performance measurement. If marketing measurement is enabled and accepted, Google Ads and Meta Pixel may be used to measure advertising visits, build advertising audiences, and support relevant advertising. Consented campaign and advertising-click identifiers may be retained for the browser session and passed from the public website to the BuildVision AI application so an action can be attributed to the campaign that produced it. When marketing measurement is accepted and a contact form is successfully delivered, we may send a conversion event to Google Ads and a matching server-side Lead event to Meta through the Conversions API. Contact identifiers sent to Meta are normalized and hashed before that server-side transfer; technical context may include the requesting IP address, user agent, and Meta browser or click identifiers. The contact form's communication consent is separate from your optional cookie choice, and no Meta Lead event is sent without marketing measurement consent. No Google Ads conversion event is sent without marketing measurement consent.
